ROGUE PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL 2004
416 East Brown Avenue, Fresno, CA 93704
PARTICIPATION
The Rogue Performance Festival 2005 is an open, non-juried, festival. The
Rogue is committed to an artist’s right to produce work without the judgment
of a jury process and without fear of censure. The only constraints on
material or content are the consideration of the health and safety of all
those involved, including staff, artists, volunteers and audiences. As an
applicant you are given the choice of two different gallery categories
within which to participate, each with a separate application process:
ROGUE GALLERY APPLICATION
Successful ROGUE GALLERY applicants are assigned to a participating gallery. Gallery participants will have their works exhibited at the assigned gallery for the ENTIRE month of March 2006.
ELIGIBILITY
Any artist is eligible to apply but only ONE application can be submitted
per artist. All applications will be accepted on a first received
first accepted process, and must be received before
October 30th, 2005.
If an artist is not accepted into the Rogue Gallery category, they may apply
as a BYOG artist prior to the December 3rd deadline.
All applications must have an artist’s name, primary and secondary contact. If an artist has been found submitting more than one application, ALL applications submitted by that artist will be removed from the application process. The primary and secondary contacts of an artist cannot be the contacts for a second artist applying to The Rogue Gallery.
Artists in the Festival may not sell or transfer their spot to another artist. If we find that an artist has sold or transferred their place to a second person, both applicants will be removed from The Rogue Performance Festival and will forfeit their application fees.
OUT-OF-AREA PARTICIPANTS
Out-of-Area Participants, like locals are responsible for all aspects of
exhibition, as well as travel and accommodation expenses. With adequate
advance notice, we MAY be able to find places for you to stay and volunteers
for exhibition assistance. A participant is considered “NATIONAL” if they
are traveling from outside of a 100 mile radius of the
Fresno area.
PUBLICITY
Each participating artist is expected to provide its own exhibit-specific
publicity. The Rogue provides general Festival publicity and your production
will be listed in the official Rogue Map program guide and on our website (www.roguefestival.com)
and all promotional material sent to the media.
