Components! Applications! Information! The Rogue Performance Festival 2007 will take place in Fresno, California between March 1st and 10th 2007!! PERFORMERS & ARTISTS This year ALL applications and payments will ONLY be accepted online! The online application form and period for regular venues will be "live" and available between September 29 and October 31, 2006
The BYO online application form and period will be "live" and available between November 1 and December 1, 2006. Please be aware that there will be a BYO Workshop for all those intending to apply. Check back here for dates of workshop.

COMPONENTS
The Rogue Gallery participants pay an entry fee and are provided gallery space to show their work and receive no less than 80 percent of the sales of their work.
The BYO (Bring Your Own Venue/Gallery) is also a component of the Rogue. Participants pay an entry fee to be included in the festival while retaining complete control and responsibility over their venue, length of performance, creation and any box-office and sales.
ELIGIBILITY Any
individual or company is eligible to apply to any component but only ONE
application can be submitted per individual/company. All applications
will be accepted through a first received, first accepted process,
and must be received before the October 31st, 2006 deadline. If a
company or performer is not accepted into a Mainstage, Cafe, Gallery and
Film Venue
category, they may apply as a BYO participant prior to the December
1st,
2006
deadline. |

Successful Rogue Mainstage applicants will be scheduled at a Rogue Mainstage venue in the heart of Fresno’s Tower District.
*A Mainstage venue can seat between 70 - 120 audience members.
* Rogue Mainstage performances are limited to 60 minutes.
* A Mainstage
venue can accommodate performances such as one-act plays, minor
musicals, dance/movement, musical acts, cabaret, magic shows, etc.

Successful Rogue Cafe applicants will be scheduled at a Rogue Cafe venue in the heart of Fresno’s Tower District.
* A Café venue can seat between 40 - 50 audience members.
* The limited stage area will accommodate no more than 3 performers.
* Rogue Cafe performances are limited to no more than 45 minutes.
* A Café venue is
perfect for the small act such as, solo-trio music, storytelling,
standup, etc. |
BYOV applicants secure their own performance space and determine the number of performances.
* BYOVs may exceed the 60 minute time limit, run up as many performances during the duration of the Festival.
* BYOVs provides the artist with greater opportunities to introduce other disciplines such as full length plays, film, video, installations, site specific work etc.
* BYOVs may create a multi-discipline EVENT.

Successful Rogue Gallery applicants will be scheduled at one of the official Rogue Gallery venues in the heart of Fresno’s Tower District.
* Rogue Gallery Artists receive 80 percent on all sales of their work.

Successful Rogue Film applicants will be scheduled at a Rogue Film venue in Fresno’s Tower District.
* A Rogue Film venue can seat between 30-50 audience members.
* All are encouraged to submit their films and is open to all categories including Narrative Shorts and Features, Documentary Shorts and Features, Animation, and Experimental. Shorts are 45 min. or less. Features are 46 min. or more.

ROGUE BYOG BYOG (Bring Your Own Gallery) is an opportunity for an artist or an independent gallery to participate in the Rogue Festival by creating their own venue in which their work will be exhibited.
