FILM AT ROGUE 2004

This year Shadow Castle Productions will be showcasing independent films in the 2004 Rogue Performance Festival through their new and exciting BYOV component.  We are hoping a good showing from filmmakers and audiences this year will lead to an established independent film component in the 2005 Rogue Festival.

A BYOV is a work that is submitted by a company that has found or created their own venue for their production. BYOV's may exceed the 60 minute time limit, run up to 10 performances during the Festival (March 5th-13th) and provides the artist with greater opportunities to introduce other disciplines such as film, video, installations, site specific work etc.”

The Rogue Performance Festival 2004 is an open, non-juried, festival. The Rogue is committed to an artist’s right to produce work without the judgment of a jury process and without fear of censure.

Shadow Castle Productions is currently looking for submissions of films of varying lengths to be packaged for viewing slots in the Rogue.  Through a partial sponsorship from Theatre J’Nerique we are able to provide you with the opportunity to showcase your work at an affordable fee.

All are encouraged to submit their films and the festival is open to all categories including Narrative Shorts and Features, Documentary Shorts and Features, Animation, and Experimental. Shorts are 49 min. or less. Features are 50 min. or more.

  • All submissions will be showcased with viewings at a venue in the Historical Tower District of Fresno, CA. March 5-13, 2004.
