MAN 1, BANK 0

First Interstate Productions

San Diego, California

Comedy. One-Man Show. True Story.

Rated: PG-15, but warn those teens about occasional cussing and poo-poo the very act of it.

Content: Patrick cusses sometimes but not incessantly and only when he gets carried away.

Theatergoers are in for a hilarious, spellbinding, and wild ride into the
true story of the most famous prank in banking history when Patrick Combs,
presents his mesmerizing, nationally touring solo show Man 1, Bank 0.
Patrick and this show were recently awarded "Best of San Francisco Fringe
Festival", and "Best Solo Male Comedic Performance," and held-over for two
encore performances. Patrick's appearance at the Rogue is just after his
performances in HBO¹s prestigious Aspen Comedy Arts Festival.

During this funny and captivating show, Combs tells the story of the time he
received a phony promotional check in the mail for $95,000 and deposited it
into his checking account as a joke. What happened will have you laughing
all the way to the bank. Said the SF Weekly, "An outrageous tale that really
happened.... Hearing him describe a bunch of bumbling, meanminded suits
trying to get their money back is worth the price of admission."

LUNKHEADS ON PARADE by Marcel Nunis

Just Another Cheap As Production (very, very, Ltd.)

Fresno, California

One Act Play: Comedy

Rated: PG-13

Content: Conversations about underwear. Nobody will be shot by the actors this year. A couple of cranky Odd Gods. No pre-planned swearing.

With this play we revive the age-old question: Can anything be so bad it's not worth even $6 to sit through? We, the actors, think not. For about 40 minutes you will be confronted by some of the same people who subjected you to PANDERMONIUM: GREEN CARD ENVY at last year's Rogue Performance Arts Festival with the conniptions of single-hoodedness; the mind-bending banality of worthless come-ons; the deep, deep spiritual journey of a man wearing too-tight undies; a Tango de la Hot Mama-Baby; and, somewhere within all of that, an actual plot line...or so that hack Mr. Nunis told us (if you uncover said “plot”, let us know after the show, okay? Thanks). But what do you expect from a company too cheap to even take a proper picture of itself for the program?

d artists, Kernshaw and Balint's work reflects a search for meaning in established systems of knowledge. The artist's recontextualization of disparate imagery results in a formal balance that is both mysterious, uncanny and often will engage the public’s connections between identity, place, memory, and possession.
