The New Music Ensemble -- featuring some of the area's finest young instrumentalists -- presents an innovative program of vital, post- modern experimental music by talented emerging composers from CSU Fresno. The group's bold, interdisciplinary performance will integrate live music with dance, spoken text and computer-generated digital sound. Their repertoire reflects an eclectic variety of musical influences -- ranging from thrash and fusion to minimalism, sound art and classical. Directed by CSUF composer Robert Strizich, will be performing works by Bob Allaire, Aaron Bisel, David Eberlein, Mason Lamb, Larry Lindberg, Christopher Mead, Alicia Ramos and David Stewart. Come and hear young virtuoso musicians perform new music that is both engaging and provocative!"
