Cute idea but needs a lot more practice. Not ready for performance.

  2. jenne says:

I agree.. I love the idea… the professor is very likeable.. but I couldn’t tell how much was nerves and how much was not enough practice in getting to know the songs…

  3. Cathy H. says:

Agreed. Save the $3 and watch some physics songs on YouTube. I think the idea of the show is great, but he really needed to practice more (perhaps in front of an audience comprised of family members and friends). It was his first show, so there’s always the chance his next one could get better.

Professor Tenney loves physics, he loves to laugh, and he wants to share his love with you. Of course, his show suffers from first-Rogue jitters, but that’s part of the charm. Where else would you hear songs from Tom Lehrer, Monty Python, and Mason Williams in the same evening? Luckily, he has the wonderful Spectrum space to acoustically enhance his efforts. It’s part of that Rogue spirit, trying something new. See the show and have fun!

  5. Lisa says:

Who would of thought that Physics could so entertaining?! Loved the song about the bricks. Nice job, Charles!

  6. Stephen says:

Terrance hit it on the head. This show isn’t great (heck, it’s barely even good), but it IS clever and embraces the Rogue spirit of working on the fringe.

Plus it’s just a drop in the bucket cost-wise. Definitely a ‘check it out if you’re interested’ kinda show.
