Marcos Dorado of Recycom Gallery will have an exhibit of nudes in March at the gallery, 604 E. Olive Ave. The exhibit will be held in conjunction with the Rogue Festival, which this year is adding several art galleries to its ever-expanding list of venues.

The more than 20 nude drawings in the exhibit vary in scale from 20 by 14 inches to life-size. Styles range from realism and expressionism to gestural drawings in graphite, charcoal and pastel on paper. The premise of the show is that when the face is excluded from our view, body language plays a significant role in our perception of others.

Dorado's work is in many collections throughout the United States as well as in Spain, Mexico and Peru. The opening reception for the nudes exhibit also will serve as the opening reception for the Rogue Festival, 5-8 p.m Thursday. Additional receptions for the exhibit will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 6 and 7 and March 12 and 13, again in conjunction with Rogue. Regular gallery hours are noon-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
