SONGS FOR KIDS & 1001 NIGHTS!

Your kids liked 'em at the Rogue Performance Festival -- now we're playing 'em just for you! RP and The Moadster will reprise their hit performance, Songs Your Kids Might Like, at Full Circle Brewery this Thursday (Sept. 28). Be prepared to sing, yell, dance and raise a ruckus because that's what it's all about. Sitting still is for grownups so leave your true age at the door and get in touch with your squirmy inner child.

Also appearing will be those Rogue returnees, the lovely ladies of Tanjora & Friends, presenting 1001 Nights - A Bellydance Extravaganza with Tanjora and Friends. Experience an evening of modern fusion Bellydance performances by members of Tanjora, plus Joy, Petra, Danielle, Zabella, and Tanjora's intermediate students.

THE ILL ADVISED SOLO SHOW

by

Blake Jones

&

LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME

by

Marcel Nunis

Originally titled “The Ill-Advised Solo Show” because it deals with the traditionally non-dinner-table subjects of politics and religion, Blake Jones’ one-man-with-a -guitar show played to big smiles, tapping toes, and positive reviews in this year’s Rogue Festival. Somehow serious questions like “Is the Right hijacking religion for their own ends?” went down like chocolate cake when put through the filter of Jones’ well-crafted tunes and delivery.

"LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME" takes us into the realms of the fantastical without big budget special effects. This is straight-up storytelling with no chaser. Take the ride with the teller as he weaves in and out of the tales his father shared with him at a young age.  As a  "citizen reviewer" proclaimed,

"It was easy to get lost in his stories. Marcel has a relaxed and engaging style to his delivery.... It was storytelling at its best. One that makes you forget about your own world and transports you to a different realm of existence."
